I am a psychoanalyst candidate, licensed psychotherapist, graduate historian-philosopher; I utilize an insight-based psychoanalytic modality in treatment applications. The framework that I am operating from implies that we are uncovering the forces underlying your relational and physiological patterns. Many are unconscious, and stem from your family of origin. Therapy in this capacity engages insight, as beings of intellect we are driven to understand. This understanding helps you to make appropriate reparations internally and externally.

I offer a safe space to talk about whatever is coming to mind as a means to cultivate free association. Free association is a psychoanalytic technique that was first discovered back in the late 1800s by the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. Freud has created the foundation of all psychotherapy practice as we know it today. The key to understanding presenting symptoms or confusing vague aspects of the life is to venture into a deeper level of memory retrieval. The purpose of memory retrieval is not to continuously relive painful experiences, but to face the underlying conflicts that perpetuate repetitive cycles in the life.
