About My Clients

In the face of life-altering illness, our most fundamental assumptions about health, security, and control are challenged in an instant. Ideas about what the future holds are suddenly called into question, as you are forced into a rushed reprioritization of every aspect of your existence. Life—once familiar and routine becomes immediately unrecognizable through the lens of uncertainty. Isolation sets in as you come to realize that others cannot begin to understand what you are experiencing.

My Background and Approach

If you are feeling lost in the midst of all of this, wondering what life is supposed to look like now, know that you do not have to navigate this alone. Serious medical illness weaves a complex and layered web as it introduces unique obstacles of which I am personally familiar. This is an experience that is difficult to understand unless you have been through it—and having had ovarian cancer, chemotherapy, and surgeries myself, I am particularly sensitive to the constellation of emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial challenges associated with a life-altering diagnosis.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My own experience with cancer allows me to offer others a depth of connection and empathy that comes from walking a similar path. With understanding and sensitivity, I will help to guide you through every part of the process, from the day of diagnosis all the way through the end of treatment and whatever comes next.
