About My Clients
I am passionate in working with individuals who are committed in the path of healing and transformation, to work on unpacking past wounding, grief, loss, life challenges and struggles. There are times in our lives when we might feel loss, or stuck. We then realize that we have to take a journey within. To take a deeper look in ourselves, unpack our early experiences, and to make space for healing. Through this process, we become more whole and joyful. Our lives become more aligned with Spirit.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology - Integral counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and an MA in Depth Psychology - Jungian and Archetypal Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. I am an Asian American woman and my approach is holistic, transpersonal, warm, and supportive. I have experiences working with diverse population and my passion is to support those who are on the path of healing, transformation. I am specifically drawn to supporting those finding themselves in life transition, and those who are healing from grief and loss. As an Asian American in the US, I am also passionate in supporting people of color and providing space and support for the unpacking of systematic racism, and finding power, strength within as we move through life, heal ourselves, and become more empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am supportive of people who do not identify with the mainstream. As I am myself often identified as the "black sheep" of the family, the one who think and feel differently, I have the lived experience of being different. And I believe that it is okay to be different, and so I tend to easily connect with people from all different backgrounds, beliefs, or identification.
