About My Clients
I am passionate about working with Asian Americans, children of immigrants/refugees, and people of color in addressing discontent in their present day lives. I understand how deep systemic problems, traumatic events, one's upbringing, and family issues can all contribute to uncertainty, stress, anxiety, and dis-ease. At times, it can become difficult to know our needs, use our voices, follow our dreams, or connect to our calm within. Therapy can help us reconnect to these parts of ourselves.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years of experience, I take a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed and holistic approach to therapy. I integrate traditional talk therapy with somatic techniques that can help to calm the body and the nervous system which may be overstimulated by life’s stressors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I aim to create a safe space for you to unpack, reflect & discover within yourself the capacity for growth and change. We will go at your pace, and our work will always be a collaboration.
