About My Clients
I have experience working in both Community-Based and School-Based Mental Health settings. In working with children, adolescents, adults and families, I help to guide through difficult transitions and issues that life presents. My experience working with children, teens, adults, and families have shown that utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness practices have been highly effective.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University. My specialty areas include the grieving process (particularly loss of a child), birth and postpartum transitions, adoption, depression issues, anxiety, stress, and life management. I approach therapy from a psychoanalytic, holistic and client-centered perspective, and focus on compassion, empowerment, and unconditional positive regard. I strive to help build individual strengths which help to create opportunities for growth.
