About My Clients
I have had the joy of working in various mental health settings, like traditional talk therapy, women’s health clinics and non-profit organizations. My clinical experience has given me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is individualized and selective based on the various and evolving needs of the clients that I serve. I often use (but not limited to) therapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral, solution focused, existential, person centered and EMDR. I am also a certified grief educator trained by world-renowned grief expert, David Kessler.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a first-generation Latina, I strive to create a safe, affirming and judgment-free environment for all groups of people. I am eager to work with individuals from all cultural backgrounds, experiences, and identities with an open and compassionate mind. We will work together to overcome and address cultural and generational wounds.
