About My Clients
The majority of my clientele are young adults, women and those struggling with eating disorders and reproductive health. However, I have worked with clients of all ages and varieties of conditions. My heart is open to all who want to overcome obstacles, move forward in their life and find self-acceptance.
My Background and Approach
I take an approach that is considered eclectic, and unique to the individual. My specialty is incorporating yoga, meditation and sound healing with counseling clients. I give individualized yoga prescriptions (breathing, postures, and meditation) to clients for mental and physical conditions to help facilitate a mind body connection for a holistic approach to wellness. I have a strong background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and working with those struggling with eating disorders. I offer complimentary therapies for you to use as tools in your journey. I offer the use of Human Design Readings to help you recognize unique gifts and find your inner authority in order to make decisions to lead a life of peace and serenity. I combine the above offerings with mindfulness techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My view is that those seeking healing of the mind, body and soul are actually desiring connection to the real self. Intuitively you know your authentic self and what is right for you. Conditioning and outside circumstances can often lead you astray. My role is to be a guide to help you connect with and accept your true self. The focus of sessions is not on diagnosis and categorizing what is "wrong" with you and needs to be "fixed". Rather the goal is to shine light on the individual gifts you are designed to embrace and live your fullest life.
