About My Clients
Are you worried about your teen being able to cope with a recent difficult event? Have you yourself recently experienced something traumatic? I understand how lonely and overwhelming these events can be in our lives. It might feel like the way to move through this is unclear, but you need something to be different desperately. Trauma can shake our world up, and I want to help you find your footing again. I want to help you champion the story of your life.
My Background and Approach
I work with a range of ages, but my specialty is with the ages of roughly 12 - 45 years old. In regards to needs, I work with an array of topics but my specialties are sex trauma recovery, domestic violence, college-aged needs, and identity development. I have experience working in adult and adolescent forensic settings and currently work in private practice. I am also pursuing a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, currently. I aspire to be a therapist that helps you feel seen, heard, and supported. It is imperative to me that your voice is amplified in our work and we feel like collaborators throughout our time together. My approach to therapy is very relational and I practice through a lens of empowerment and positive psychology. I want you to leave our space knowing how many strengths you have, how to take back control of your life, and actionable steps to move forward.
