About My Clients

You tend to be anxious. You are successful in many areas of your life, but cannot understand why you struggle in others. You might experience perfectionism, people pleasing, control issues and putting yourself first. In your relationships, you feel like your needs are not being met. You are motivated to get unstuck and would like to understand what keeps you in these cycles or patterns. I look forward to meeting you!

My Background and Approach

Awareness is the first step. The internal work we do on ourselves is not easy, but it is incredibly rewarding. I will help you uncover what is holding you back. You will have the freedom to discover who you are at your core in a space that is free from judgment. My hope is that my clients feel empowered to ask for what they want and need in relationships, stand up for themselves, make important decisions with ease, find internal validation, and create a deeper relationship with their true authentic self. A mind and body full of shame and guilt hold us back from reaching our full potential. You are the expert in your life and my approach stems from that belief. I will ask questions that may offer a new awareness and insight. Although tools for managing symptoms are important and necessary, I will help you understand why these behaviors and symptoms show up, and how we can respond and release them.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

There are too many people who have to hide parts of themselves because they were shamed as children or adults for being their unique self. I want to see people shine! For many years, I was suffering in an addiction to alcohol and drugs, as well as an eating disorder. My world was small, and I know what it is like not to feel safe in your own head. I also know what it is like to live a life I always wanted, and therapy is an incredible tool to start making changes. My background is in addiction counseling, health coaching, and yoga. I am a cisgender woman, married to a wonderful man, and we welcomed our son into this world in 2022. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and recovery community.
