About My Clients

I offer my clients opportunities to learn about self-care, mindfulness, meditation, and how to lessen the impacts of negative self-talk. I work with children, adults, and families. I help my clients learn to cope and heal from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, trauma, and histories of abuse (sexual/psychological/emotional/physical). I also enjoys working with adult children of alcoholics, grief and loss, and caregiver stress.

My Background and Approach

I am trained in Somatic Therapy (mind-body), Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I provide trauma-informed and trauma-focused care to all of my clients. My goal is to help you or your loved one(s) to feel empowered and provide hope they can heal from any painful past or present experiences in their lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am big believer in the power of mindfulness. Mindfulness can be achieved through different forms such as focusing on the present-moment and non-judgmentally accepting your internal experiences. I have a mindfulness practice and have personally experienced a decrease in my racing thoughts and stress level. I practice noticing when my mind wanders, listen to my body and how I feel moment to moment. Mindfulness is a great practice for clients of all ages to decrease anxiety, stress, improve concentration and overall performance at school and work.
