In our time together you can expect to feel validated yet challenged. My approach to our work is eclectic. While assessing what may be the best practice for your particular concern, I utilize my various trainings and instincts to identify methods that will support our work together. I believe in a holistic approach and, together, we will identify your needs in the areas of mind, body, and spirit. Some modalities I use include CBT, EMDR exercises, trauma-focused CBT, SFT, polyvagal therapy (the brain-gut connection), mindfulness, and multicultural-centered therapy.

Allow me to introduce myself - I was born into a vibrant Puerto Rican family right in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in both NY and Florida, I was immersed in a rich tapestry of experiences that instilled within me a strong sense of family values, a deep appreciation for education, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of both animals and humans. Having been shaped by such a diverse and culturally rich upbringing, I have developed an immense respect for various cultures and ethnicities. I find great joy in connecting with people from all walks of life and understanding their unique experiences, especially as someone who has personally encountered the challenges and triumphs of being a minority. I am incredibly proud to be a mom to an amazing toddler. Parenthood has also bestowed upon me a profound admiration for the incredible journey of new moms and parents.
