About My Clients
I specialize in women ages 25-35 who are coping with anxiety and overwhelm, in major life/relational transitions. A lot of my clients would self identify as 'spiritual seekers.' Not in a dogmatic way, but rather an overarching desire to heal their wounds and tap into the truths of compassion, love, connectedness and inner-wisdom and confidence. As a mother myself, I feel drawn to support new mothers in building up inner peace with curiosity and warmth in their role as mother.
My Background and Approach
Hi! My name is Danielle Knapp and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC). My approach to therapy is to trust you and what you know. I believe that all people have an innate desire for growth and will find their way to wholeness when provided the needed resources. I will use my training and expertise to help you reconnect to the meaningful life you know you were meant to lead.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all of our experiences and traumas have been intricately, and dare I say, perfectly, placed on our path to bring us to where we are and lead us to where we are heading. I have a deep knowing that you are doing your very best with the resources you have. I am committed to assisting my clients by providing additional resources such as emotional support, a safe (and soft) space for retreat and a healing therapeutic relationship in order to help them grow and find fulfillment in their life outside of the therapy room. I delight in seeing the incredible healing that comes from their experiences in my practice.
