I review your child's unique learning needs, develop a specialized report and provide recommendations to shift momentum towards effective solutions. All assessments include taking family background, the actual assessment and a report. Some families may wish to have me attend school meetings (such as IEPs, MTSS or SSTs) or observe their student in the academic setting.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Educational Psychologist living in Sacramento, CA and I've been working in education and psychology for over 10 years. I believe in working WITH families and students, coming alongside them and helping them figure out what is NOT working and discovering what CAN work. When it comes to our kids struggling, I know we all fight to get them the help they need. So I'm guessing, dear parent, that you may have a heavy heart. Questions for the school.
