About My Clients
Together, we will help you gain insight, take action, and achieve positive change. My areas of interest include: Relationship problems, divorce/breakups, workplace stress, depression, anxiety, fear of public speaking, fertility problems, issues related to sexual orientation and gender, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, test anxiety, substance abuse, and animal-related concerns (i.e., grief over a pet's passing). I have also helped many clients recover from relationships with narcissists.
My Background and Approach
I trained at Harvard University (doctoral intern and postdoctoral fellow). In addition to my work with clients, I taught for fourteen years at several universities such as UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and Pepperdine University. Throughout my career, I have taught undergraduate, graduate, and medical students.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I served for several years as a volunteer handler/educator of owls at a wildlife rehabilitation center. The injured and orphaned owls I worked with could not survive in the wild.
