About My Clients
Most people call me because they are struggling in their daily life and/or drowning in emotional pain without any ideas on how to make things better. I can understand that struggle and have found ways to help people turn that pain around. I help people unravel negative core beliefs, resolve past traumas, and discover personalized coping tools to move toward a richer and rewarding way of living and loving! I accompany people on the path back to their TRUE SELF!
My Background and Approach
I sincerely know the courage it takes to reach out for help, and I honor that in you! My hope in our work together is to reduce what is burdening your life/relationships and increase a sense of autonomy in your life. I specialize in treating trauma and work from an Attachment-based approach while utilizing strategic treatments through EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, DBT, Ego-State/Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness therapy modalities. I am passionate about teaching people what happens in the brain and the connection to our thought and behavior patterns. I’ll load you up with many coping strategies to use throughout daily life so you can rewire your brain towards calm and make clear-headed choices! Your life matters, and I look forward to accompany you along your path of discovery and growth!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe we all are born with a resiliency inside of us that is what I call our True Self. Circumstances and other people can steer us away from that resiliency in tiny increments or with one large blow, and leave us splashing around in a pool of uncertainty… UNTIL we can be led back to our resilient True Self. Many times we will need another person to partner with us along this path, to show us that “what happened” doesn’t have to define us, and to support us while we learn new ways of thinking, learn new behaviors, and learn to embrace positive changes. I’ve walked this path personally and professionally and am delighted to share all the gems I’ve learned along the way. I will meet you exactly where you are at and will partner with you to discovery your path! I am a life-long learner, a student of life, and most importantly a human being who is committed to seeking out new ideas, more effective methods, and better ways of “being” in this beautiful life.
