About My Clients
I am a very open minded therapist and work to help people become authentic and feel comfortable expressing themselves fully. I help look at life from a broader perspective, which helps with anxiety, depression and other issues. I have worked with many clients who live alternative lifestyles. I enjoy my work and seeing change over time. I have been told by many clients that I am easy to talk to and down to earth. I will offer you feedback on your issues and offer interaction.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in many fields over the years including, crisis intervention, hospice, substance abuse, and prisons doing suicide evaluations and creative groups. I have been working with individuals for many years offering a very eclectic approach to fit to your issues and style. I do not work with each client in the same way. I am interactive and I will not waste your time or money. Due to my experience, we will get to and through your issues more quickly than other therapists. I will offer various ideas to help you but it will not be similar to some who work from books it will be more existential and adapted to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I do not hold strong beliefs other than kindness, empathy and helping others. I believe that my work is meaningful and that it is an honor to work with each individual as they are placing their trust in me. I do not take that lightly. I am capable of seeing both sides of anything presented. I will never judge a person or believe I am more evolved. I am just here to walk you through your journey and assist in anyway I can. No religious affiliation. I believe most religions lead back to the idea of love. I am spiritual but very open and nonjudgmental. I believe we are all on a path to learn in this life and I honor your journey.
