About My Clients
My ideal client is interested in learning more about themselves and willing to look at problems from a different perspective.
My Background and Approach
I earned an MSW from Walla Walla University in 2004 and have been licensed (LMHC) 2012. I have been trained in Brief Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have provided individual therapy to individuals from across lifespan; I currently focused on working with individuals 16 and older. I also provided crisis intervention and high intensity services to individuals at risk for suicide and self-harm. My approach is strengths based- I believe you have inherent strengths that can be resourced to bring about change and growth; and trauma informed perspectives. In addition to providing therapy, I have been in leadership roles in behavioral agencies; I specialize in revitalizing programs and building dynamic and cohesive teams. I have provided clinical supervision to graduate interns and pre-licensed therapists.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a long time LGBTQ+ ally and strive to provide affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals. I have a deep commitment to advocate that schools are overtly affirming to LGBTQ+ youth.
