About My Clients

My clients are individuals ages 3-17 with anxiety based disorders including selective mutism, social anxiety, tics/ TS, ADHD, and OCD. In addition to CBT and ERP, PCIT-SM, I am trained in SPACE treatment to help parents of anxious children. We offer social skills groups and intensive summer camps to help our clients with social anxiety, parent coaching services, and help with navigating the 504/IEP process.

My Background and Approach

I am a mother and being a mom gives me perspective which lends to an empathetic understanding of your situation. As a school psychologist and a group of clinicians with experience in the schools, we offer a unique perspective as we are able to help children and families not only with day to day life challenges at home but also with struggles at school. As a school psychologist for 9 years before entering private practice, and having my own gifted and 2e children, I understand both the parent perspective and the school perspective which can help parents and school teams collaborate to get on the same page. I am currently supervising clinicians with similar backgrounds and we have a team approach to assessment , evaluations, and therapeutic problem solving including offering parent training courses and social skills groups. We believe it takes a village to help our children and we are a unique group of individuals truly dedicated to helping you and your child.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ And Black Lives Matter communities and work with several members from these communities. I also have family members in both of these communities. I accepting of all, while not being color blind or blind to our differences but understanding that our culture and beliefs shape who we are and can play an important role in our mental health, identity and the important part of forming our own identities. I also believe that everyone is different. Someone with an experience in the LGBTQ or Black lives matter community is one person with that experience. Therefore, I ask to be informed from each persons individual experience and how that may have impact on their daily lives as I understand that everyone’s experience is unique to them and their family group. Within these specific communities, there are not only unique individual differences but as in any community or culture, distinct family differences. I aim to respect everyone, always .
