About My Clients
My goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. By listening to and understanding your needs, I will assist in navigating complex issues that are currently preventing you from reaching your goals/ideal self.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in treating anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD, Depression, and Self-Esteem issues. I specifically use evidence-based treatments in my practice that are backed by research including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based practices. I have extensive experience in treating adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals, universities, residential treatment centers, and community based mental health centers. I believe that therapy is a supportive and empathic environment where individuals can view life from a different perspective. It's a journey to understand oneself and our relationship with the outside world. Therapy teaches us the skills to cope with stress, process traumatic events, restructure maladaptive thinking patterns, and engage in self-fulfillment in an effort to reach our goals and attain our ideal self.
