Depression is one of those experiences that feels like it will never leave. The good news is that there is a way out! Together, we explore where the depression comes from and ways to navigate thru it. We look at unique ways to make life better for you.

Did you know that anxiety is inherited? So, no matter what happens in life we can all still be prone to developing anxiety if it runs in our family. However, there are ways to manage our anxiety so that it doesn't have to run our lives.

First thing to know about addiction - it is NOT your fault! The second thing to know - you are NOT alone! Substance use disorders stem from various life related and genetic dynamics. Together, we explore these dynamics and seek to re-frame life so you can begin to find a life worth living.

With CBT, we find that we can be set free from the emotional side that seems to drive most of us. We learn ways to manage life differently by thinking differently and that when we do, life becomes more manageable. CBT teaches us to balance out our impulses and emotions with observation, rationale, and new thoughts and behaviors.

We seem to go as far in life as our supports, or lack thereof, have prepared us to go. We find in Attachment Theory that we develop our personalities and create experiences based on our early attachments - usually with early caregivers, like parents. If we have unstable attachments early in life, we have a tendency to struggle with attachments as we grow. Here, we explore attachment styles and grow from there.

For addiction, we use an approach that is comprised of integrated theories, approaches, and interventions. We collaboratively honor each individual for who they are, where they've been, and where they want to go, while providing support for all aspects that make us human. Addiction issues are best managed by addressing thoughts, behaviors, and emotions simultaneously. We are here to support, not judge. This is why we meet individuals where they are and they do not need to be sober or clean.
