About My Clients

As a therapist, the individual I find myself working best with are those who have experienced trauma and related issues to trauma, such as addiction and emotional/sexual/physical violence. I have also been working with athletes concerned with performance issues, anxieties, and recovering from injuries. Other areas I work well with are mens issues, anxiety, and depression. As therapist and the client relationship grows we can work together to achieve the goals and lifestyle you are desiring.

My Background and Approach

I base my therapeutic approach on the needs of each individual client. The modalities I draw from include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Strength-Based, Trauma Processing, and Humanistic approaches. I work diligently to develop trusting and collaborative relationship between client and therapist in an effort to address the complications disrupting one's preferred lifestyle. I pride myself on being fully present, authentic, and honest during these times of vulnerability while we strive for change and process the concerns that you are having. As a trauma and sports therapist when working with individuals, growth happens when individuals can build up a resilient mindset and supportive relationships. I have personal and professional experience working with these populations and will provide a safe space for clients to express their wants and needs in life and work towards goals to meeting these wants and needs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Some background about myself is that I have done a lot of work within the human rights field and believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect. I have also worked with the LGBTQ+ community and really enjoy being able to serve these individuals. For myself I enjoy being in the nature hiking and being active as this has shown to help improve mental health and help myself to be a better therapist for my clients. I am a person who takes whatever concern that is going on in your life seriously and will do my best to help you become that ideal version of yourself.
