If you cannot put into words what you feel, your hopes and what you dread, you may act in ways you don't understand or experience anxiety, anger and relational issues, among other afflictions.
My Background and Approach
All clinicians in my group are fully bilingual (English and Spanish) and can conduct sessions in either language. We offer Psychoanalysis, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, Relationship Coaching, and Support Groups. We also work closely with a psychiatrist in case our patients need medication management. We offer a sliding scale.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Ancient wisdom tells us that "every difficulty in life presents us with an opportunity to turn inward and to invoke our own inner resources." (Epictetus). Mental health providers in my group will help you tap into the wealth of your inner strength so that you can live life to its fullest. We work with individuals from all walks of life. Those who find themselves at the margins of society because of their identities will find supportive therapist in us. We want to empower you to tell your own story in such a way that will give you freedom to write new chapters. We provide a non-judgmental space in which I will challenge you to look into your repetitive patterns and non helpful coping strategies that prevent you from enjoying life and relationships.
