About My Clients

“To help the underserved, the unheard, and those who find truths hard to put in words.” -Elaijia Eaton Anxiety, life transitions, some traumas, family relationships and a variety of other relational, life stressors, and other problems have become second nature. Some of my most recent work has been with anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, relationship discord, children and parent relationship dynamics, some substance use issues, self-esteem, occupational stress, and maintenance.

My Background and Approach

I am experienced and educated at the Master's level. I've managed to remain in the realm of the human sciences. Working with others has been a constant theme in my life since a young age. Today, I hold tenure as a reputable former state "Family Specialist," anxiety girl, self-esteem boosting agent, and have much training to aid tough situations that are often overlooked. I've been challenged and successful at working with human trafficking, and used to working with bullying issues, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, motivation, self-esteem, and trauma. Beyond that work, I have found myself working with persons, who used substances. I approach each person in a manner appropriate for their needs by offering a client-centered approach initially. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Reality Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) are the therapies often used to provide clients with services needed based on their individual needs. I sometimes use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have been a flexible person in most facets of life, that didn’t dwindle when the “2020” pandemic hit it actually made my therapeutic offerings more flexible. Working in an integrative way to bridge gaps, especially for people who are often misrepresented, overrepresented, or marginalized in various systems, and unfortunate to daily situations, I have been able to assist in a unique way. Clients have brought in anxiety and dissatisfactions in life that required close lenses. Clients have been most integral in the process of providing the “address” and suggesting the route, while my clinical ears and eyes have “listened” or “viewed” the journey. My innovative, client-centered approach paired with natural empathy and optimism has often led clients to meet goals. Naturally, I challenge challenges. {LSS} "Every child every day," "all people all the time," and all "Underdogs." The motto, "To help families and disadvantaged individuals maintain health, wellness, and stability."
