About My Clients
Are you hitting with terrifying anxiety, feeling sad and misunderstood but you’re too ashamed to tell anyone about it? I look forward to meeting you. I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, effects of childhood trauma and the toxic relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a holistic therapist and believe that Individual capacity to stress adaptation depends on the person’s unique set of life experiences and can be understood within the context of the whole person. Psychological stress affects both mind and body as well as leads to prolong physical pain. I practice integrative psychotherapy based on cognitive, trauma-informed, body-centered psychotherapy approaches combined with Mindfulness stress reduction techniques. Getting relief from emotional and physical pain, you will be able to build meaningful connections with yourself and others, feel more secure and self-accepted. Immigration Trauma is an additional area of my expertise. I am passionate about helping young adults struggling with adaptation difficulties during their new life transition.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the human capacity to grow and to heal through interpersonal contact and insight. I value emotion as an agent of change and self-awareness in the present. Therapist’s empathy and acceptance, non-judgmental dialog help clients to feel safe and explore their psychological problems. I learned that in many health conditions people can be severely affected by health-related stigma and discrimination. Especially, a stigma of mental illness frequently prevents an individual from seeking professional help. Effects of internalized stigma can have a profound impact on the personal physical and emotional well-being. Dialogue with a therapist is the best way to reduce effects of stigma, to enhance client's awareness and self-confidence.
