My Background and Approach
My Social Work training has allowed me to work in multiple settings, treating clients of all ages and mental health needs. My practice focuses on adolescents and adults at this time, and mood disorders and life transitions seem to be the most prevalent reasons clients seek out my support. While my background includes training and experience in treating a wide variety of populations, in the last ten years, I've spent a lot of time with new moms who struggle at different levels with the transition into parenthood. From the baby blues, to postpartum mood disorders and other more severe maternal mental health issues, I've been honored to be with moms and dads through every step, and see them through to wellness and joy in their families. Whatever issue you are facing, you're not alone, and there is always hope. I want you to be well, and I believe you can!
