About My Clients
I help clients dealing with a variety of issues such as; depression, anxiety, grief/loss, mood disorders as well as clients dealing with the issues that arise from being part of the LGBTQ community. I have also worked with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
My Background and Approach
The therapeutic alliance is the most integral part of the counseling process. With the client's trust, I help guide them to the “aha” moment. A point where it becomes clear what they need to do, let go of, or change to become the person they want to be. My counseling style is compassionate and empathetic with a dose of humor, using different modalities based on the needs of the client.
