Ellie Mehrdel

Ellie Mehrdel, is a dual Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. I received master's degrees for Psychiatric, Mental Health, as well as multiple academic, leadership, and research awards in Family Practice, and Nutritional Science. My specialty areas includes but not limited to depression, anxiety/panic disorders, mood disorders, attention deficit disorders, psychotic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and stress management. Everyone is unique and there is no single approach that is best for every person. Prescribing medications is only one of the many option treatments I offer. It is a respectful "client-centered" approach that focuses on your present situation to allow you to design your own better future. I provides medication management and take a compassionate, evidenced-based approach that accounts for the particular biological, psychological, and social factors that impact each unique patient's mental health.

Finding hope is the first step in getting better. And there are reasons to be hopeful. As a Psychiatric provider, I firmly resolve to listen, show empathy, compassion and provide tailored care to enhance the best possible psychiatric health functioning of my patients. I aim to do this by utilizing evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities, psychotherapy, psychotropic medication management, and professional relationships in order to pursue the best course of holistic treatment.
