About My Clients

I work with individuals who experience a wide range of emotional, physical, and psychological challenges. Clients come from diverse backgrounds, professions, cultures and beliefs. They share in common a sense of dissatisfaction and a deep desire to change. I work with couples and families to unpack complex emotions, heal from pain, and learn to transform unhealthy relationship dynamics into opportunities for better communication, increased respect, greater vulnerability, and connection.

My Background and Approach

I work with people who are entering therapy for the first time or who have already been in therapy for years. Our work together will be a collaborative exploration to understand your full story in the context of your relationships and environment, so that we can determine the core patterns of behavior that are blocking your full potential. We will explore what it means to be you, to be human in this world, and to be in relation with others and your surroundings. We’ll make sense of who you are and invite opportunities for deep healing and long lasting change. My work is trauma informed and liberation based. I integrate Western psychological theory and evidence-based methods with Eastern philosophy and mindfulness practices. My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, intuitive, collaborative and active. I am known to challenge my clients, highlight where they’re stuck, and be a champion for their transformation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a multicultural first generation immigrant, my therapy practice was born out of the healing and lessons from my own experience of living across many worlds. My clients often find themselves feeling stuck between places, cultures, career choices, life decisions and relationships. Although everyone’s story is unique, I’ve found that a common feeling is one of disconnection; disconnection from a sense of purpose, a loved one, community, or even just from oneself. Our work is about helping you process the experiences in your life, integrate and make meaning from them, break negative patterns, and recreate connection in areas that have been lost. Together, we will help you live your most authentic and vibrant life.
