About My Clients
The one true constant in our lives is change, now more than ever we understand this universal truth. In a world that is constantly in motion, it can be difficult to find a moment of peace. I treat all individuals 15+, specializing in grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions and adjustment, and chronic illness.
My Background and Approach
Our work together is collaborative in order to build a foundation of peace and healing amongst the obstacles. But most importantly, our work together is completely about you. Together, we will tailor a therapeutic experience to focus on your goals to navigate our ever-changing world, leaving you with a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I follow a person-centered and humanistic therapy to focus on human potential. My approach is non-judgmental, supportive, validating, and warm. I commonly use elements of CBT, breathing exercises, and narrative therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My favorite quote, written by Charlie Mackesy, is, "Asking for help isn't giving up, it's refusing to give up." Through my own therapy, I have learned how true these words are. Healing is not linear, I believe both growth and healing are continuous throughout our entire lives. By being here you have taken the incredibly brave first step of healing. Together, through a compassion focused lens, we will work on coping skills to add to your 'healing' toolbox.
