About My Clients

I work with people who are hungry to know more about who they are and may struggle to know and express their innermost needs. I often work with people who suffer from ongoing or persistent feelings of anxiety, disconnection, and fear of conflict. Artists and those adjusting to the demands of adulthood often find their way to my practice. I work with people with a history of trauma, whether acute or due to the ongoing stressors of being racially marginalized and/or LGBTQ+ identified.

My Background and Approach

I prioritize taking time to create a safe space tailored to each client’s needs. My style is collaborative, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. My clinical training and experiences include Internal Family Systems therapy, queer affirmative therapy, depth psychology, eating disorder treatment, and somatic therapies. My approach is warm, direct, humorous, and creative as we work through both past and present conflicts to achieve lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I consider each client’s early environments and experiences as important contexts to inform our work. Before becoming a therapist, I worked and volunteered in a wide range of professions and industries; spanning from elementary schools, a suicide hotline, technology, non-profit organizations and the arts.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
