About My Clients
It takes a lot of courage and bravery to seek out support and take the first step to make personal changes. I am here to help you begin a new journey towards an authentic self. This path will focus on self-compassion, acceptance, empowerment, and self-love. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space that encourages healing, growth, honesty, and unconditional regard. In addition, multicultural, diversity, and affirming therapy roots and drives my practice and work with clients.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with a wide range of different clients with diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating sexual, emotional, and interpersonal trauma, woman issues, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and identity development. I trained under a variety of treatment approaches but am most strongly influenced by interpersonal processing, multicultural relational, trauma sensitive, and emotion focused. I also incorporate CBT, mindfulness techniques, and coping skills. A working alliance is important thus a good relational fit is key and essential. I strive to provide a safe and affirming place were you can explore current and past unresolved experiences including interpersonal unhealthy relationships.
