I have worked with both Veterans and Refugees who have experienced combat trauma, and violence fleeing war. My experience with PTSD has also been with more milder symptoms such as being in close proximity or witnessing something traumatic. I work with this diagnosis by slowly stabilizing and creating sense of safety within the body to process trauma in increments. This directly honors the individuals' capacity and strengthens new neural networks in the brain to restore relaxation and connection.

I have been trained in Hakomi, Inner Relationship Focusing, Somatic Abolitionism and currently being trained in Somatic Attachment Therapy. These certifications require extensive practice of the practitioner to being intensely aware of their own body and nervous system to better support the client into a place of compassionate awareness. Throughout Somatic Abolitionism training, I've done specific work around my racial identity as a white-body to foster a more embodied anti-racist practice.

I have been trained throughout my education in attachment theory, and most recently in progress on achieving a 60hr certificate (April 2022) on Somatic Attachment Therapy which centers knowledge and integration of Attachment theory.

I was trained in the Internal Family Systems (Clinical Applications) in 2021. I have since continued my education and integration of the module.

I support folks in their healing journey from religious trauma & abuse. I work specifically with those healing from purity culture, harmful & sexist beliefs of women held by the church, & those healing from loss of family, friends or support leaving a religious organization.

I hold space for white folks looking to heal from the harm of white supremacy culture, recognizing internalized superiority, and their visceral responses surrounding racialized trauma. I have committed myself to my own individual and communal work of somatic abolitionism, and use somatic therapy & Jungian shadow work to support folks. White folks, we must heal our own ancestral lineage, ancestral trauma and heal from white fragility to stop white supremacy culture.
