About My Clients

I find it most rewarding to work with clients who are willing to step into the unknown with me, co-create their path, & tune into a greater wisdom that is available in every moment. In my experience guiding this process, you benefit most when you are active in shaping our work together & developing an ever-deeper sense of trust in yourself on all levels. Our paths are never linear. We start right where we are & remain open to what is possible at each step to allow for the most profound shifts...

My Background and Approach

I graduated from Antioch University in Santa Barbara with a Masters's Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology in 2022. As an undergraduate, I received a Bachelor's Degree in Contemplative Psychology with a somatic concentration at Naropa University. I have experience supporting people with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and intimacy issues, fertility, pregnancy, motherhood, abortion, family issues, education and career path, and self-esteem and empowerment. My therapeutic style and approach is psychodynamic, somatic, and relational. My work draws from attachment theory, interpersonal theory, somatic body-based modalities, Internal Family Systems, Buddhist Psychology, Authentic Movement, yoga, and mindfulness. I continue to participate in my own personal growth and healing. I consider my studies a life-long process and integrate all of these experiences into my work.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

The expectations, demands & limitations of our society are overwhelming, & even when we are able to keep up, we do not often feel a sense of satisfaction. We long for a deeper connection not only in our most intimate relationships but also in relation to our friends, communities & our beautiful planet. It would seem that worrying about all that is a pipe dream for another day once we get the basics straightened out, but in fact, it is very hard to survive in the state of isolation & meaninglessness that is reinforced by media & peer pressure day in & out. Our nervous systems bear the brunt of this toll. In fact, what science finds time & again is that we actually need to delve into the support of the cosmos, to feel our great impact on the whole, & to see how very crucial our every breath is to all. We do have a purpose. We are here for a reason. Our suffering can point us towards that which we are looking to do in this precious life. Great despair indicates our caring & potential.
