About My Clients
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. My highest priority is creating a safe, trusting relationship with my clients. I believe this is where healing begins. I have successfully worked with clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, domestic violence, trauma, Autism, ADHD and educational difficulties. I was also a school psychologist for many years and have extensive experience with assessment, IEP's and educational consultation.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is eclectic but tailored to the needs of each client. I pull from humanistic therapy, CBT, psychodynamic, systems theory and mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide an open, accepting environment and enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds. Clients report that they feel safe, understood and cared about when working with me. I provide an empathetic, non-judgmental space in which my clients can express their feelings and make positive change. Things can get better and just by being here, you are already on your way. I know it's not easy to find a therapist or begin therapy, but if you reach out I am here to support you every step of the way.
