About My Clients

My therapy technique is one from a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative approach while having experience in treating a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, trauma, relationships, stress, and various life transitions one encounters. I use an eclectic approach to make sure treatment is catered to my client’s specific needs.

My Background and Approach

After graduating in 2013, I began my journey as a marriage and family therapist working at substance abuse treatment facilities throughout Southern California at all levels of care- detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and OP. As a clinician in this setting, I worked on a dual diagnosis treatment plan with my clients to address both the substance abuse and underlying mental health issues like trauma, social anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other affective disorders. I worked closely with my clients and collaborated often with case managers in order to provide treatment needed for sustainable, long-term recovery. I also have experience working with children and adolescence at various elementary schools as a school counselor providing support and guidance dealing with issues ranging from academic struggles, developmental challenges, and family issues. I incorporate evidence-based approaches of CBT, DBT-Mindfulness, and Strengths Based Therapy.
