My particular areas of focus as an inclusive, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed therapist intersect with people whose parents struggled with addiction, as well as those desiring to process religious trauma, women, couples, and anyone wanting to feel less anxious in their daily life.
My Background and Approach
I believe that everyone needs therapy at some point in their life. Are you anxious and you recognize the coping skills you have aren't working, or are you realizing there is some healing that you need and don't know where to begin? Maybe you need help managing your relationships. I've been there. I use a client-centered, integrative approach to therapy including IFS, CBT, EFT, and systemic therapy. I am currently under consultation for use of EMDR as well. I want my therapy space to be a place of comfort and healing for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The journey to being my best self started with a scary phone call asking for help. Now I want to bring the same transformational and empowering growth to anyone that wants it. I'd encourage you to make the call. Healing is hard, and the status quo is always an option, but there can be joy found in the process of healing. In my spare time, I love Tennessee Volunteers football, reading any fantasy novel that is currently popular on TikTok, spending time with my close friends & family, & cuddling with my 16 lb. cat, Onyx.
