About My Clients
My clients are youth, adults, parents, single, in relationships that may or may not be sure where they are at currently in life. Clients come certain and uncertain what to address and where to start. You do not have to be clear on what is going on or what to do. You do need to be open to discussion so that a plan, goal and or intervention can be identified to help. You will engage, give feedback on what is or is not helpful and collaborate with me for your desired outcome.
My Background and Approach
My counseling approach is informed by my years of experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings. Through therapy I have been able to help individual, couples and families address barriers. Treatment approaches I use in therapy are Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems. In addition together we will discuss interventions/tools that will be helpful to you to enhance your wellbeing..
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I appreciate working with someone to help them discover, define and address their past, mistakes, and decisions that keep from the life they want. My experience and background allows me to work with individuals that differ in background, income, age, beliefs and or communities. My only expectation for anyone coming to services is to understand healing is not easy, takes time so be gracious with yourself/others.
