About My Clients
My passion is to help adults, older adults, children, and adolescents managing their symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and anger. I have worked extensively providing Parenting Training, Domestic Violence, and Substance Abuse treatment.
My Background and Approach
As a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Specialist (CCBTS), I use a collaborative approach respecting my patient's autonomy but at the same time providing evidence-based interventions that will help develop coping skills and healthier thinking patterns and beliefs about self, others, and the world that lead to alleviation of symptoms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the therapeutic process is for helping individuals to rediscover their inner selves. I believe that every human being is trying to do the best they can. My role as a therapist is to teach and help my clients acquire coping skills and develop better interpersonal and behavioral patterns that not only alleviate symptoms but also help them improve their quality of life.
