About My Clients
I love working with people to strengthen their relationships with their spouses/partners, children, extended family members, and friends. I have a passion for working with those who serve; active duty military, veterans, law enforcement, and first responders and their family members. These high-stress careers impact relationships with spouses/partners, children, extended family members, and friends. Working through these challenges is a passion of mine.
My Background and Approach
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy student intern under the supervision of Dr. Kristin Ross. Relationships are an essential part of life. They are a source of great joy and fulfillment, yet they can also be the source of our most tremendous pain. I have a passion for working with people as they navigate life. A community near and dear to me is military and veteran families and couples coping with the impact of PTSD, TBI, chronic pain, and disability and transitioning to civilian life on day-to-day life and relationships. My educational background is focused on interpersonal relationships, human development, relationship, and parenting education. My approach to therapy is collaborative and is rooted in attachment theory. My goal is to create a healing environment to identify life patterns that are not working for you and help you to develop new beneficial habits that facilitate the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing on several therapeutic models to develop a treatment plan that works best for each individual, couple, or family. Attachment theory, compassion, and positive psychology form the foundation of my therapeutic approach.
