About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults, ages 14+. I am passionate about working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. I typically see clients who are struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as life transitions. I know it can be difficult to take the first step, but you are already doing it!
My Background and Approach
My clients can expect warmth, compassion, and unconditional acceptance as we create a space for healing and cultivate a path together for your journey. I consider myself a client-centered counselor, meaning that I like meeting my clients where they are in this moment. I like to collaborate to decide what feels most important to you each week, as well as big milestones you would like to achieve. Therapy can look like so many different things that I want to find what will most work for you! I will be trained in EMDR soon!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that clients are the experts in their own experience and have all the tools within them to face life. Sometimes it can take someone new to lead us to the tools we had all along. I believe that change can happen no matter where you are in life's journey. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy because it provides a unique environment where no one is judging what you are experiencing, and every experience is unique to you!
