About My Clients

Your child used to be so happy. They had a light that was so bright and you knew they could accomplish anything. Somewhere along the way they lost that and you find yourself in the midst of intense conflict with them. You've wondered if it was just puberty or the pandemic, but now you're scared they are lost and you can't fix it. I have found a trusted professional outside the family can make a monumental impact on the trajectory of a teen's life and I look forward to being that for you.

My Background and Approach

I have been working in the Greater Sacramento Area for over 12 years and got my start helping children and adolescents in group homes. This experience has driven my practice into a fruitful career in providing therapy and wraparound services to children and families in the community. Most recently, I worked as School Social Worker collaborating with school staff to support struggling students. I believe relationship and trust are key to the therapeutic process. You can expect warmth and acceptance in every interaction. My style is flexible and supportive in order to adjust to the unique needs of every child while using Evidence-Based Practices to guide my practice.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I truly believe that anyone can change and the degree to which that happens is based a lot on your dedication to it. One of my main tenants of life is humor! I find humor is the best way to build a connection with someone and lightening the mood is often so needed in this field.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
