About My Clients
Have you had a difficult time connecting with others? Do you feel that you have a long standing and complex mental health concern? What about this – are you having a difficult time connecting with your partner? Feeling stuck? These are some of the challenges that I have helped other people like you work through. We can problem solve and strategize on how to take your next step. Using a collaborative and strength based approach, I have been counseling people since 2010.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master of Social Work in Clinical Social from St. Catherine University and The University of St. Thomas. How do you feel about yourself? It’s important to realize how you treat yourself because if we do not have a good relationship with ourselves, it's difficult to change and grow. It can take a tremendous amount of courage to acknowledge what is not serving you well, to reach out for assistance, and to share those deeply personal issues. I see it as an honor to be a trusted witness and support to those who cross my doorstep. Those who are interested in taking a creative approach in therapy are welcome. Maybe you have writer’s block or you are stuck in your creativity. When working with individuals, couples and families, I utilize my experience in the arts to help individuals express things creatively that they may be hard to express verbally.
