About My Clients
I utilize an integrative approach of treatment modalities catered to the unique needs of the individual or family I am working with. I have experience supporting people throughout the lifespan, but specialize in working with children, teens and young adults. I have experience treating a wide range of concerns and working with many populations, including but not limited to military, LGBTQ+, and complex trauma survivor populations.
My Background and Approach
I join with those I serve through a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based approach. I utilize a systems perspective, looking at the individual and their interactions with the world around them. I earned my master’s degree in social work at the University of Southern California with a concentration in mental health. There I also obtained my Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work, gaining expertise in navigating support services within the school system. Currently, I am obtaining my credential in Play Therapy from UCSD Extension and working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist. Throughout my career I have provided both in person and virtual clinical services in many settings including schools, mobile crisis community-based services, outpatient clinics, group homes, and juvenile/ adult detention centers.
