About My Clients
I love to work in an empowering collaborative way with individuals (adults and teens) , and relationships of all configurations. While I see clients from all walks of life with a variety of different presenting concerns, I have a few populations that I really have a passion for, including creatives, ethically non-monogamous individuals and relational groups, and LGBTQ adolescents and young adults.
My Background and Approach
I am formally trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, and trauma focused therapies, but I use an ecclectic approach that best suits the needs and style of my clients. My style is one of collaboration, and direct straight forward communication. Together we can find the best tools and skills that will work just right for you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has a right to live a life that aligns with their authentic self. You can be who you are, love whoever and however many you choose. I believe that everyone has a right to dignity and respect and everyone has the potential for change and growth. Through my volunteer work, I have developed a particular compassion for LGBTQ+ youth and supporting them has become a passion in both my private and professional life. You can find me most often in my office with my beloved senior Laborador Retriever, or enjoying coffee in my secret garden.
