I've trained in ACT therapy by attending workshops, conferences, and personal practice. By incorporating ACT into my approach to therapy, I offer an evidence-based, mindfulness set of skills that help my clients develop psychological flexibility--an important tool to have throughout life. ACT skills are also much simpler to transfer outside of the therapy room in a way that my clients can practice between sessions. The approach is light and optimistic.
