About My Clients
I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. My work has primarily focused on assisting clients who are struggling with depressive symptoms, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and trauma/PTSD.
My Background and Approach
I believe the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client is the most impactful part of therapy. As such, I aspire to form forthright relationships with my clients through genuine interactions intending to provide a non-judgmental space for my clients to learn about themselves and grow. I work with each client to create individualized treatment plans to address their primary psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Clients from all backgrounds are welcome, and I am happy to discuss any struggle preventing your mental wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly feel all people are capable of change and growth when they have the right support. I appreciate that therapy is very hard work, as I have experienced myself as a client, and so I want to provide my clients with a safe, non-judgmental space where they can progress at their own rate. I believe issues with mental health stem from a combination of possible genetic predisposition and environmental factors that lead to unhealthy patterns of behavior. Through the therapeutic process, I hope my clients can gain insight into themselves so that these unhealthy patterns of behavior can be altered, allowing my clients to lead more fulfilling lives. I wish for all of my clients to live lives that are the most authentic to themselves.
