I have several years’ experience in behavioral health settings offering mental health and addiction services.
I specialize in chronic pervasive mental illness including anxiety, depression, psychotic spectrum, and personality disorders with a client-centered approach to therapy. I am a certified instructor for the QPR Institute for Suicide Prevention and an active member of the National Association for Social Workers.
I have a background in providing addiction services at an inpatient level of care as well as community-based individual and group psychotherapy.
I specialize in providing care and treatment to those diagnosed with chronic pervasive mental illness such as Schizophrenia/psychotic spectrum disorders, disorders of the personality, and neurocognitive disorders requiring long-term inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations.
Burnout can manifest itself in many different ways. I am no stranger to it myself and am driven by personal experience to support those who are currently experiencing feelings of burnout and identify strategies to mitigate future risk.
I firmly believe an individualized approach is paramount when working with those who are struggling with addiction. Substance abuse treatment is not a “one size fits all”.
