I want to help clients use their own strengths, experiences, and resources to build their own desired behavioral change to be able to focus on their future and situations that they will face.

I enjoy listening to a client's story, discovering their strengths , and showing them, through rapport and building a positive relationship, that they are capable of understanding their experiencing and can heal.

I enjoy helping clients change their thoughts or perspective regarding their experiences to then change their behavior. This comes through a lot of different techniques and especially gaining confidence in one's own strengths and abilities.

Life transitions can often leave us feeling anxiety, loss, and out of control. I want to help clients build on their own strengths and coping to address these feelings regarding the transitions they are working through.

I have worked with children, siblings, and families enduring treatment for cancer and blood disorders. This journey is often physically and emotionally challenging for patient and their support systems. The emotions with having and being treated with cancer can be complex and overwhelming. Having additional support and resources can help clients throughout cancer treatment cope with all of these emotions and challenges.

The loss of a loved one or walking through the process of dying with a loved one can be extremely difficult. However, grief and loss does not only have to be associated with death. I strive to help clients navigate their journey with grief and loss no matter what the situation through listening, positive regard, and building on their strengths and support.
