About My Clients
Sooner or later we all realize that we must confront a certain problem. For some it's an emotional problem such as anxiety, anger, or shame. For others, it's an addiction to a substance or unhealthy behavior. For many, it's the realization about how difficult it is to successfully navigate the relationships we desire to have and to keep. I look forward to helping clients with these issues everyday and I believe I can help you do the same.
My Background and Approach
My method of working with people helps them understand the underlying issues from long ago that continue to drive their behavior, adverse emotional experiences, and relational problems. Then we work on building the relational & behavioral skills that are necessary to live effectively in the present and as freely as possible. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We live in a broken world. Sadly, it's a world where it can be difficult to establish genuine connections to people who have the time to listen or the understanding it takes to help people cope effectively with their problems. This state of isolation may be real in your life but by enlisting the help of a caring and competent psychotherapist you can establish a compassionate connection that will provide an outlet for your concerns. This relationship will not only help you gain leaps and bounds of professional insight but also may serve as a blueprint for establishing the authentic connections and relationships you desire for the future. In essence, I believe, therapy works by removing the obstacles to growth. It is a pathway and shortcut toward personal growth.
