About My Clients
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. Most of experience is with people who have been through some sort of traumatic event such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, religious trauma, etc. As a therapist, I believe it is my job to meet clients where they are at in the healing process and to provide holistic, trauma-informed therapy.
My Background and Approach
My philosophy on therapy emphasizes an integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health. While I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I also like to approach things from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective. I do not ask, "What's wrong with you?" but rather, "What happened to you?" During the process, I will stand beside you offering support, encouragement, and feedback as you outline your vision for the future and how we can make that vision a reality.
